Do you have 6.0 l turbo rebuild kit with turbo pn# 3c3z6k692ccm ?
All the 6.0 Powerstoke turbos take the same Rebuild kit. The turbo is called a GT3782VA or GT3782VAS, there is also a GT3788 which is the 6.6 liter Duramax turbo. The factory rebuild kit has a 270 degree steel thrust bearing, we use the copper bar bearing because it does not conduct as much heat as the steel bearing. This is the same rebuild kit that we use in all of our turbo rebuilds and upgrades. Here is a tutorial video on the rebuild
I have a 2005 Duramax 6.6 LLY need a rebuild kit for the turbo. It is a used truck and has a different compressor wheel. Want to take it a part so I know what milimeter wheel it is. Is this the right kit?
This is the correct rebuild kit. The compressor wheel wont be the same as the powerstroke compressor wheel. The Powerstroke has 2 different compressor wheel sizes. and 3 different turbine wheels sizes.
I have a stock 2006 f250 and my turbo began to squeal i would like to rebuild without having to get it machined out. does this kit work without machining out?
You don’t have to machine anything, here is my tutorial on the rebuild.
I want to send you my turbo off my 6.0 so I can get it boarded out. Please send me the information if possible.tia!
Hello:
Just purchased your kit. What is the run out of my 2007 6.0 Turbo. Also, is this brass thrust bearing going to hold up to wear and tear over the stock thrust washer? I am running stock.
Thank you,
Shaun
I have a 2003 F350 6.0 with ONLY 29,000 miles and the truck has been sitting at a friends place for two years…The turbo makes a woo woo woo sound when i step on the accel pedal firmly at all speeds. what should I be looking to rebuild on this Turbo? and do you sell the parts for this issue? Or, do you perform services on Turbos if I send it to you?
Thank you,
Ray
I have a Garrett reman that came on my truck it has a part number 1879413C92 on the tag
I want to get some upgrades for it but unsure on what to get
I have searched high and low using that part number and haven’t had any luck
I have been trying to find the dimensions on it such as follows:
Turbine inducer dia exducer dia and tip height
Vane height
Compressor wheel inducer dia exducer dia and tip height
Journal bearing size
Shaft dia
