I have a 2009 BMW 535I. I was watching one of the YouTube videos and I was curious of the cost to rebuild the both of mine and the turn around time ? I would also like to know how much more it would cost to upgrade ?
    Thank you Randy

We rebuild them with the Wastegate repair for 650$. Usually it takes 1-2 weeks also have cores on hand, but I’m out of the 5 series rear Turbo right now. I will try to find another one.

We currently cannot do that, because I don’t have a machine to machine the exhaust housings,

What would be the compressor hosing inlet size? What kind of inlets would you use? Could you use oem size ones or different ones?

I had no issues at all with the turbos. No leaks and an awesome amount of boost. Now consider that these ARE NOT $3,000-$4,000 turbos that will give you 700whp. These are $1050 stock turbos that have been upgraded. I am being told by local tuners that stock turbos (not bored out like these) can do over 500 at the wheels with the right fueling and tune. That tells me that these should do over 550 at the wheels with the same fuel and tune…I’m a realist. The biggest pain in the butt for me was pulling out the subframe and installing the rear turbo inlet. It took me personally 6 days over 8 hours per day to do this job but I also did the oil pan gasket, HPFP, walnut blast, new colors and plugs and new VRSF Inlets.
