    Hi Team,

Just wanted to find out the cost of repair if turbos are mailed.

    Car: BMW 135i N54 ’09
    Issue: Rattling wastegate/wastegate actuator

Currently located in Australia, just wanted to find the cost to completey remove the rattling, how long it would take (excl. postage), what sort of warranty for the completion of the job.

    Thanks

btw: Watched the Youtube video, very good work.

Not sure this is something that I want to attempt myself, do you have an hour estimate for a shop to complete this? Trying to get a cost estimate — Thanks!

The most time consuming part of working on the turbine housings is removing the bushing. sometimes they come out easy, sometimes i can use an air hammer but sometimes it have to grind them the press them through the opposite way i show in the video. Someone posted a write up and claimed 14 hours. I never timed myself on start to finish, but i would say 4 hours just for fixing the turbine housings as a pair and thats if i have to grind the bushing out.

I did a pair of turbos using Austin’s kit. One went smoothly and took about an hour. The other went very not-smoothly and took 4 hours. Turbo removal took 10 hours and reinstallation took 14.

If I get my mechanic to remove the Turbos (or if I can remove it myself if it is a simple DIY), how much is it if I ship the turbos to you and you do the service on your side, and ship it back to me? you can email me the details.
    thanks!

Also, let me know if there are other upgrades you can do to the Turbo to increase its horsepower and how much each costs.

Do you know of any repair shops in Maryland that can do this repair? I have an 08′ 535i with low boost and that annoying rattle. Thanks!

Hello I am interested in having you rebuild my 2008 bmw 335xi turbos and redoing the wastegate system. How much will that cost to have you do that for me?
