The Some Garrett and Turbonetics Turbos Use this Rebuild Kit. Keep in Mind that The Turbonetics Turbos with the Gold Backplate Usually Have a Single Ball bearing and 1 journal Bearing. Often the Journal Bearing is still good but the journal bearing wears and needs replacment. Our rebuild kit does work to rebuild the single ball bearing turbo minus that we dont have the Ball Bearing parts.

Im not sure about that one. If the shaft diameter is 7.93mm then it may use a big shaft rebuild kit, but there is more than one version of journal bearing size. If the turbo uses
a 6.93mm shaft where the compressor wheel lays then you may need the to4e rebuild kit. The turbonetics have some variations, including single ballbearing, some parts are compatible and some parts are not.
Hi, looking for help. I have a gold backing turbonetics. I have tried to use a standard shaft sized rebuild from another vendor and it was not correct. My turbo is the dual journal bearing type. My issue is that when I measure the shaft, I am getting 7.2mm not 7.93mm. I can’t seem to find the rebuild that matches this size. Can you please verify this is the kit I would need? Thank you!
