I can rebuild them for 180 each, that is no problem, but im still trying to source the parts to replace the wastegate flapper problem that these turbos have. Until i can fix that. you maybe best off getting a set of new oem units under warranty as many times as you can.

Any updates? I might be interested in a upgrade. As fas as the wastegate rattle some companies have resorted to welding it on.

I have a 335 with the n54. I’m curious as to what the services are that you offer for these turbos, as well as the cost. I recently asked on yt and you replied with 650..what does that include and will I see any power?

What is the turn around time for a turbo rebuild? Do you give a discount for a core exchange? Also what are the performance number differences with the upgraded compressor wheel?

    Thanks,
    Justin

I need a set of turbos to do it. I had one set of cores but im using them for a build. I built a lot of these but never got an answer on what the performance gains were. Im awaiting more flap repair parts right now so that can affect the turn around. Last set of 5 sets of turbos, i turned around in 2 weeks. I have another 5 sets in right now that im 90 percent done and this is the 3rd week. This one took longer because i wasnt working last weekend because of having company over.

I have a 2008 BMW 535xi with the N54 Engine I believe. My Turbos are having that common waste gate issue. Is this the same repair as the 335i repair as you have listed?

Yes the repair is the same. The rear turbo’s compressor housing is a little different, but otherwise it’s the same procedure.

Hi, i looked at your turbo upgrade uptions and i noticed that you have the option for vargas turbos. I’m wondering if you rebuild my turbos with vargas turbo parts and machining or we do a core swap with vargas prebuilt turbos.

They are not the same as Vargas that I can tell.the upgrade we do has a 39.6 X 56 compressor and 9 blade turbine. This is our upgrade https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhsa9PnrV3Q we do the upgrade and Wastegate repair for 1050. 300 of that is rage Wastegate repair so if you don’t need the Wastegate repair it would be 750.

Hi I have 2008 BMW 535i. I always hear the waistgate rattle on after cold start. And when I press the gas pedal too hard it gives me a check engine sign and on Idrive screen it says ” engine malfunction, reduced power”. I think this is because of failing turbos. I need to rebuild them and adjust the waistgate. I want to know how long it would take to fix both of the turbos and how much would it cost me ? Also is it possible to come straight to the address or I have to send the turbos in the mail ? If not how much would it cost to disassemble/assessable turbos? Thanks in Advance!

I usually spend 2 weeks to fix a set of turbos but it only takes a day or 2 it just depends how much I have to do at a given time. We just work on the turbo, we don’t take them off or install them. If you want to drop them off or mail them either way is fine with me, just let me know in advance.

I’m not sure, I have never took one apart. If it takes tdo4 parts or tdo3 parts but no out of the ordinary custom parts then I have all of the parts to rebuild it.

Hello I am not sure where I should be posting this but I have a 2008 Bmw 335xi that is going into limp mode and throwing 30ff (turbo air pressure to low), 3100 (boost pressure control deactivation) codes. The Bmw dealership said I need to replace both turbos due to wastegate failure. I have been researching and I found your videos on a do it yourself. It looks like to would charge $650 for both turbo rebuilds and wastegate fix? Is this correct? How do I know if I just need the wastegates fixed or if I need both turbos to be rebuilt? What would you recommend I do next? If easier please email me @

Yes we do the rebuild service for 650 which includes the rebuild and wastegate repair. If the turbos are leaking oil then they need a rebuild, if the Wastegate are rattling then then need a Wastegate repair. We recommend rebuild them anyway since the general labor rate makes it a 1500$ job.
