I tried calling both numbers but received no reply. I’d be interested in upgrading our new, un-used Holset HX40W turbocharger to support 310hp in a commercial diesel application.
How’s that turbo work with the 2nd gen 24v
We usually build them with the 67 x 89 x 95 compressor and 67 x 76 turbine. The results on the HE351 and HE341 are really good. Customers i talk to tell me the spool is like the stock turbo but it has a lot more power. Keep in mind this compressor housing and wheel is for the HX series though. For the HX series there are a lot more options with turbine housings 12cm, 14cm, 16cm, 18cm, then if you go t4 there is a 22 cm and 26 cm.
I dont know the results on the HX platform so well for the dodge truck, we usually build them in the HE platform. We build a lot of the 67mm setups for Turbo charged cars though. We did Build a 67mm for an 8.3 Liter cummins for a motorhome, that turbo is a much better match for that size engine, the owner said it worked out really well. Of course he isn’t take a motorhome to the dyno.

I dont have a turbine housing like that on hand. I need a t4 .84 or 1.15 twin scroll for a ptrim turbine, but they are hard to find sometimes. other than that I could build the whole turbo, the cost would be 750$.
I have a brand new hx40 with an eight blade wheel right now I was wondering what would have to be done to the turbo to accept the 67mm wheel and compressor housing would I need to do some machining, would I need a differnt shaft
I have a 8.3 Cummins with a stock HX40W I’m curious if you can upgrade the wheel to a 62 or 63mm and upgrade thr turbine into the 67mm, truck is a otr hauler so it’s always moving so I’m wanting quick spoolup. I think my housing is a 18cm or bigger but without taking it off I won’t know.
So I have both a HE341 and a HE351CW. Could you build either one to fit a 67 compressor wheel and a larger exhaust wheel to say a 14 or 16cm? If so, what’s the total cost on one of those and which turbo would you be able to take and build and machine it to do that?
what’s the flow rate of this compressor? a map would be really nice!
