    Is it possible to modify the Holset Center section to utilize ball bearings? I Have an he351cw on my 4g63 and if it could spool faster it would rule. How much would the 67 mm turbine and housing lower spooling rpms on a 4g63?

      The larger turbine and housing help gain spool because of the 76 mm inducer of the turbine vs the 65 mm inducer of turbine.

    So I have the wicked wheel 2. And as you stated I never did do the exhaust turbine and housing … wondering if I just but this kit and throw on the wicked wheel 2 and it’ll all go back together on my 06 5.9 6 speed manual with the he 351. Also wondering if it will sound similar to the holset cheetah. That’s one of my main goals. I love that sound. It just my daily driver. Occasionally pull about 10,000 3x a year or less

    Should I use my stock compressor wheel for this set up or should I use the wicked wheel 2 that I have? 2006 5.9

    I put the wicked wheel 2 on my stock turbo and spores better but it seems to run hotter I don’t like that

      If you upgrade the turbine wheel then you will see a reduction in EGTs, usually 400 degrees less than stock with this turbine upgrade.

    Trying to get a decent turbo on the cheap. If I buy this housing and turbine and mate it to my he351cw compressor, should the assembly be professionally balanced still or is this a bolt-on that a shade tree mechanic can do?

    Looks like this way can cut the cost of a new upgrade in half, but if it needs to be balanced, not as good. I may as well spend a few hundred more on the complete upgrade which includes the compressor and rotating assembly.

      The compressor wheel and shaft are balanced and ready to install. This component balance setup is the same way that holset assembles their turbos.

    Can i use my factory he351 exhaust housing and machine the bore to accept the larger wheel or is the housing larger to decrease the egts? I’m a machinist so i can do the machining myself
